En blogg av en irländska, skriven på svenska och engelska.
Just scroll down to find the English bits among the Swedish, or vice versa.
Ta Gaeilge agam freisin, más é an rud é go bhfuil éinne eile le Gaeilge ag léamh mo bhlagsa.
Ich verstehe auch ein bisschen Deutsch, je parle un petit peu francais och klarar av lite norska med.
Wondering about the background of the blog? They're the Cliffs of Moher, in the neighbouring county, County Clare, 8km long, 700m high, and magnificent. Well worth a visit if anyone is around the West of Ireland

Happy St Patrick's Day
Happy St Patrick's Day to you all, near and far...
Enjoy the day, I know I will, starting with a long lie-in and a leisurely breakfast with the kids, hubby will be at work.
The weather is to be blustery, so no parades for me, I'm not a fan of crowds and noise.
St Patrick might not really have existed, my friend A in college studied History as her elective subject (I took Maths!) and it was from her we heard that Patrick's story was a conglomeration of the lives of a few different early missionary priests in Ireland, and that over time the stories had been merged, possibly in an attempt by one diocese to claim supremacy over another by virtue of being founded by THE St Patrick.
Nevertheless, we still tell our children the old stories about him, including the one where Patrick banished all the snakes from Ireland. (The snakes never got to Ireland from the Continent in the first place! Sorry to be the bringer of bad news...)
I will enjoy tomorrow, cos all my children have a day off school, and so do I, bliss...
God Natt, ha det så bra imorgon på St Patricks Day, ta på dig något grönt, eller sjung en irländsk låt, eller spela fiol eller nåt!!!
skojar bara, dags att kravla till sängs...
