Husband was delighted, his favourite second hand record shop in Gothenburg was still alive and kicking, 16 years later, Dirty Records.
After 2 nights in a hot humid Gothenburg, we got the bus and train to Karlstad, where we stayed in a house in Hammarö, which is actually the neighbouring district to Karlstad.
The following days were spent doing out favourite activities when in Sweden, ie, swimming and eating Swedish food, visiting Ikea, visiting the library in Karlstad, meeting M's mother and his friends and family, and generally taking it easy.

I think Vänern is too cold to take a swim in :-) I can almost feel ice around me when trying :-) :-)
ReplyDeleteI ahven´t been to IKEA for over fifteen years I think! I think that might be a world record of some kind :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
We always swim in Vänern, that is, my husband and children do, I usually just sit at side and read, my crazy Irish kids love the water, it's so clean and fresh, I love that there's no current, no salt, no jellyfish (manet) and that the beaches are långgrund, shallow and sandy. I work hard enough to get us all to the beach and i will be back 'on duty' again when we leave the beach, so when we get to the beach I like to have a safe beach for the kids and then i can take a break.
ReplyDeleteI really really want to get to Ikea in Dublin soon, before I go back to work in school again, yes 15 years without goin there is a record!
have a nice day you too!
regards
