We use to make snow lanterns with snowballs too but due to the cold weather the snow is not wet... So we used the hard crust ontop of the snow instead ;)
ah ha, so that's how you made those lovely snow lanterns, we just don't get as much snow as you do, although they say it will snow tonight...
ReplyDeletespinning is so much fun, i have a wheel as well as a spindle, I'm using the wheel at the moment, it's lovely to see what the wool turns out like, and each skein you make is individual, never to be repeated...
