A blog by an Irishwoman, written in both English and Swedish, depending on what humour is on me....
En blogg av en irländska, skriven på svenska och engelska.
Just scroll down to find the English bits among the Swedish, or vice versa.

Ta Gaeilge agam freisin, más é an rud é go bhfuil éinne eile le Gaeilge ag léamh mo bhlagsa.

Ich verstehe auch ein bisschen Deutsch, je parle un petit peu francais och klarar av lite norska med.

Wondering about the background of the blog? They're the Cliffs of Moher, in the neighbouring county, County Clare, 8km long, 700m high, and magnificent. Well worth a visit if anyone is around the West of Ireland

  1. All in a very good cause :)

At least lowest temperature in Ireland is 1 deg C for next few days. Lowest temp here where we are in US in same time frame is -13 deg C!!! I wont be standing watching much in these temps. Today we had a high of -3 deg C!

  3. Hello Lily,
hope all well in US with you and yours,
there was a new record set for the lowest temperature measured in Kilkenny the night before last, it was minus 16C! Now this is small fry really compared to Sweden, and probably US also, but it's kinda mind-blowing for your average Irish person!
I guess we're going to have to get used to this type of weather in winter in future, we may need to plan ahead, imagine that!!
Limerick is doing ok, not too much snow, and we can continue normal life as usual.
    hope all well with you,
    regards
